  • Do I need to make reservations for the daily excursions?

  • Do the boats ever fill up? Will I be turned away?

    The boats rarely fill up, but on the occasion they do, a second boat will be taken out if one is available. You can guarantee your seat by purchasing tickets in advance either online or over the phone.

  • Is there food or beverages on board?

    Yes, we do have a snack bar on board that serves chips, candy, soda, wine, and bottled beer. No carry-on alcoholic beverages or outside food is allowed on the boats. You can preorder a JuneBerry Cafe meal for your daily excursion or stop by our boat stand to purchase food to bring onboard your trip.

  • Do you allow dogs on the boat?

    Yes we do allow dogs on our daily excursions or our sundown cruise,  but they need to be kept on a leash at all times.

  • Is the boat handicapped accessible?

    The Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours are handicap friendly. Both boats are somewhat accessible, depending on a variety of factors. The lower level of the boat is accessible in a semi-limited capacity to most standard size manual wheelchairs during normal water levels. The restrooms onboard are not handicapped accessible, but there are handicapped stalls in our restrooms next to the ticket window in the brown building. There is no elevator to the 2nd level of the boat. The staff and crew at the Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours are committed to assisting guests with accessibility whenever possible.   • Are there restrooms available on the boat?

    Yes, but the restrooms onboard are not handicap accessible. Prior to boarding, you could use the restrooms next to our ticket window (brown building) which have handicap stalls.

  • Where should I park?

    There is limited parking available next to and behind the Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours stand. Additional parking is available behind Casey gas station and on Bench Street in Taylors Falls. We highly recommend parking on the north end of town and spending some time exploring the local shops while taking the short walk to the boat tours. There is a beautiful walkway under the Hwy 8 bridge that will lead you safely to the boat tours from downtown Taylors Falls. Please note if you park at the MN Interstate Park their is a fee.   • Is there a minimum # to rent the boat out as a private charter?

    No. The cost is the same whether you have 1 person or 249.

  • Which cruises provide lunch?

    Our daily excursions do not provide lunch, but if you like, you can add a lunch from Juneberry Cafe when you book your daily excursion tickets online  48 hours prior to departure. 

    Groups of 20 or more can book a Box Luncheon 10 days prior to departure.

  • Will my boat tickets be mailed to me?

    No, we do not mail the boat tickets. We will have your party’s name on our manifest for dinner, picnic, and leaf cruises as well as the daily excursions.

  • What if I need to reschedule or cancel my paid cruise?

    For the daily excursion and sundown cruises: Your reservation is nonrefundable, you may reschedule to another day with a 24-hour notice.

  • Do you offer a Military Discount?

    We offer a discount to our U.S. troops as a way of saying thank you! Any service personnel and their immediate family (spouse and children under the age of 18) will receive $5.00 off a daily excursion when showing a valid current military ID at our boat stand or $5 off the walk-in rate when purchasing your tickets when booking online. Valid anytime.

  • What are the patio hours?

    Patio Hours: 

    Monday & Tuesday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Wednesday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

    Thursday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Friday & Saturday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

    Sunday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Does the boat go out rain or shine?

    Yes, the lower level of both of our boats is enclosed.
